SUCCESS OF LAVINIA (Per United Press Association? WELLINGTON, December 1. in a series of Sanders Cup trial races yesterday, Lavinia, skippered by A. Johnston, won the three first heats. LYTTELTON TRIALS COMMENCE. (Pee United Press Association) LYTTELTON, December 1. The first Sanders Cup trial was held at Lyttelton yesterday in a light north-east breeze. The winning boat was Huia, sailed by E. Sinclair, who won the Cup with Irene in 1934 and again last February. There were seven starters.
