LIQUOR ADVERTISING
PROHIBITED IN ALBERTA PREMIER’S ANNOUNCEMENT (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) EDMONTON, November 28. (Received Nov. 29, at 5.5 p.m.) Mr Aberhart, Premier of Alberta, has announced that all liquor advertising will be prohibited after February 1. Mr H. G. Brougham, a New York Social Credit expert, bitterly criticised Mr Aberhart to-day for allegedly inviting him here and then repudiating him as a special adviser. He said the Premier’s displeasure came when he refused to give him a copy of a plan which he had made for Major Douglas. He recognises Major Douglas as the Social Credit leader, not Mr Aberhart.
