TO-DAY’S GAMES Matches commenced last Saturday will be continued this afternoon. At the University Oval the match between Albion and University will be continued. Albion scored 161 in the first innings and University was dismissed for the small total of 43, and has lost two wickets for 13 runs in the second innings. The remaining University batsmen will have to show exceptionally good form to save the side from an innings defeat. At Carisbrook the match between Carisbrook and the Colts will be continued. Carisbrook was disposed of for 136 and the Colts have three wickets down for 145. It therefore appears that Carisbrook will have to do something out of the ordinary to avert defeat. At the North Ground Grange is in a very strong position against Old Boys, having scored 342 in the first innings. At Tonga Park Kaikorai has the advantage over Dunedin, having scored 202 in the first innings. Dunedin has lost seven wickets for 39.
