MEETING OF CREDITORS

DECEASED BARMAN’S ESTATE A meeting of creditors in the estate of the late Daniel Sheehy, barman, was held yesterday afternoon. The official assignee (Mr J. M. Adam), who had been appointed administrator, presided. A statement of the affairs of the deceased showed that debts to unsecured creditors amounted to £220 Is 7d and assets, consisting of shares and dividends accrued, to £45, the deficiency being £175 Is 7d. The principal creditors were: J. T. Calder, baker, £ll4 10s fid; H. Gourley, Ltd., £2l 7s Gel; and the Otago Hospital Board, £ls 19s 7d. The administrator stated that, after the petitioner’s costs and preferential payments for funeral and testamentary expenses had been met, there would be nothing left for unsecured creditors. The estate was left in tile hands of the administrator for winding up.
