DRUNKENNESS.
Charged with drunkenness, Leslie Towns was fined 10s in default 24 hours' imprisonment. CHARGE OF RECEIVING.
-William Michael Wilkinson, for whom Mr C. J. L. White appeared, was charged with having, on November 22, received a quantity of lavender water, the property of Kempthorne Prosser, Ltd., well knowing it to have been dishonestly obtained.—On the application of Chief Detective Young, the accused was remanded until December 0, bail being allowed in his own recognisance of £SO. ~- TWO YEARS' PROBATION.
Robert M'Gregor, who had previously been charged with having obscenely exposed himself in a public place, and remanded to allow a medical report to be obtained, appeared for sentence.—i After perusing the report, the magistrate admitted the accused to probation for two years, conditional on his submitting to medical examination as directed by the probation officer, and complying with the conditions laid down by the medical officer. 4
