RETURN OF WOMEN'S TEAM

HIGH STANDARD IN AUSTRALIA

(Pee Untied Pukss Association)

WELLINGTON. November 25

Four members of the New Zeeland ladies lawn tennis team—Misses E. Rudkin, T. and I. Poole, and D. Miller —returned from Australia by the Makura, which arrived this morning. Miss Rudkin is of the opinion that the standard of women's play in Australia is higher than in New Zealand. One of the most marvellous of Australia's women is Thelma Coyne, aged 17, who has a style like Jack Crawford's.
