“THE CIRCLE”
NEXT REPERTORY PRODUCTION it would bo unwise to reveal the denouement which marks the "curtain” in Somerset Maugham's brilliant comedydrama “ The Circle,” which will be staged by the Repertory Society in His Majesty’s Theatre for a season of four nights, commencing on November 13. It, need, only be said that it is an unusual yet entirely understandable outcome of t'a forming of the “eternal triangle.” The situations in this essentially modern social story are frequently tense and not infrequently witty. The dialogue is clover, but never too much so to be natural, for (he human aspect is always prominent. The members of the east are enthusiastic and the production should be one not excelled by any amateur performance to date. The production is in the hands of Miss Bessie Thomson, and the stage manager is Mr T. C. Wynne. The cast includes Sirs John Hamer, Misses Dorothy Clark and Dorothy Secular, and Messrs Desmond Grocnslado. W. R. Brugh, Douglas Dali, Ken Palmer and C. IV. G. Patterson, The box plan arrangements arc advertised.
