GERMAN CONSCRIPTION
A RUSH OF RECRUITS BERLIN, November 2. (Received Nov. .‘5, at 10.30 p.m.) Conscription in Germany came officially into force yesterday, and the railway stations were crowded with recruits born in 1914. The maximum contemplated strength of the standing army is 30 divisions, totalling 500,000 soldiers. Their quarters in the new barracks are superior to those of pre-war conscription days. .
