A special summoned meeting ot Court Enterprise was held on Tuesday last.CJi. Bro. CF. Hugham presiding and all olncers being present except the S.B. The woodwards' report was satisfactory. Letters were received from Bro. Craig, of Wellington, wishing the court a successful anniversary, and from the D.S.C.R., Bro. Eastlake, Invercargill. Invitations were received from Court Woodland's Pride and from King Edward's Pride. A letter of sympathy was received from Court Pride of Leith in reference to the death of the late treasurer P.C.R. Bro. Alex Sll/eod. Two maternity claims were passed for payment. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to P.C.R. Bro. Brettell for the manner in which he had carried out the seventy-second anniversary. There was only one nomination for the office of treasurer, and P.C.R. Bro. J. Dey was duly elected. Two nominations of new members were received for next court meeting. P.C.R. Bro. D. Mercer was selected to act in place of P.C.R. Bro. W. M. Hogg at the next dispensary meeting. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to P.C.R. Bro. A. MTtfaughton for installing the newly-elected treasurer. It was decided that Bro. G. Benfell should act as M.C. next court night.
