Constable J. Tretheway, who received notice of his transfer to the detective office at Christchurch a week or so ago, will leave Oamaru next Wednesday. Mr Lloyd Powell, examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, will conduct the practical examinations in Oamaru on November 14. Incidentally, the entries for the musical examinations this year constitute a record.
