FATALLY MAULED
SOUTH AFRICAN OFFICIAL CAPETOWN, October 30. The Government announces the death of Mr Hugh Hall, elephant control officer. While capturing a young giraffe, Mr Hall encountered a lion, and fired, wounding the beast, which charged. His second shot misfired. Mr Hall was found unconscious under the dead lion, badly mauled. ~»
