GREYMOUTH AERODROME
CONDITIONS AND RATES OF PAY MEN DECIDE ON MONTH'S TRIAL. (Per United Press Association) GREYMOUTH, October 31. As a result of the refusal of the men to accept the Public Works co-operative contract system, work on the Greymouth aerodrome ceased.this morning, about 40 men being affected. Objections were taken to the conditions and rates of payment, representations on behalf of the men being made to the Unemployment Hoard. The men met this afternoon, and decided to resume and to give the contract rates a month's trial.
