SYDNEY WOOL SALES SYDNEY, October 28. (Received Oct. 29, at 0.5 a.m.) The wool sales were resumed, 10,867 bales being offered and 9848 sold, while 170 were privately disposed of. The market was from par to 5 per cent, below the closing rates of the previous Sydney series, the best fleece descriptions showing the greatest decline. Japanese buyer? were the most consistent bidders, but Yorkshire, France and Germany gave good support. Greasy merino made 19fd, and comeback 19$d. the latter being a record for this season.
