OLYMPIC VILLAGE
PREPARATIONS OF REICHSWEHR WELL-EQUIPPED ACCOMMODATION (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, October 25. (Received Oct. 27, at 5.5 p.m.) Mr Evan Hunter to-day inspected the Olympic village which the Reiohswehr is building at Doeberlitz, the famous
military camp nine miles from Berlin. It consists of 150 one-storeyed 10 to 12rooracd houses equipped with shower baths and sun-bathing verandas, including a restaurant with 40 kitchens, an assembly hall for the nations’ shops and other factilities. Mr Hunter applied for accommodation for the British team near the restaurant and also asked for accommodation for dominion representatives alongside the British, as at Los Angeles. .
