AN IMPUDENT BURGLARY

BISHOP’S CROSS STOLEN LONDON, October 26. (Received Oct. 27, at 9 p.m.) While the Bishop of London was dining with guests at Fulham Palace thieves took a ladder from the barn and entered a bedroom window. They stole the bishop’s gold cross, jewellery, and a fur coat belonging to one of the guests. The thieves visited several rooms in the most impudent fashion. Neither servants nor guests saw or heard anything.
