GERMAN ARMAMENTS
MR CHURCHILL’S COMMENTS RESENTED IN BERLIN BERLIN, .October 25. The press is indignant at Mr Churchill’s speech, which is described as specially interesting in view of the likelihood of Mr Churchill becoming First Lord of the Admiralty in the next Cabinet. The Nazi press shows no restraint in its comment, describing Mr Churchill as an unscrupulous wire-puller, a friend of the Jewish bankers, and as abusing his authority, to direct Britain’s energies against Germany. Mr Churchill, in the debate on international affairs in the House of Commons on Thursday, made pointed reference to German armaments.
