A GREEN SHIRT PARTY (From Our Own Correspondent) (By Air Mail) LONDON, October o. The supporters of the social credit theory now have national headquarters in London, and their letter heading is printed in green. Under the heading “Alberta To-day— Britain To-morrow,” they issue a publicity paragraph which solves the mystery of their green stationery. “ The Green Shirts,” they say, “ under the leadership of Mr John Hargrave, have formed themselves into the Social Credit Party of Great Britain. The party membership is now being enrolled in every district throughout the country. - , , , “ Green Shirts form the 1 shock troops of the party. The aim of the party is the introduction of Douglas social credit in the British Isles. “‘We are determined to carry social credit into effect in Great Britain,’ said Mr Hargrave, 1 and already we have behind us a very large popular backing.
