AUCTIONEERS’ NOTE—This _ sale affords a unique opportunity to Friesian Breeders and Dairy Farmers generally of acquiring some of the best-bred Bulls in New Zealand to-day. The Rosevale Stud was originally founded on importations of females from Canada which were mated with the Longbeach-bred bull NETHERLAND KING OF ROSEVALE. To keep the stud to the high standard attained, importations of herd sires of outstanding merit and performance have been made periodically. The Rosevale Breeders have always concentrated on C.O.R. Testing, and with signal success, having made 192 records, test average 18,357.81 b milk and 638.121 b fat, including the records of 58 two-year-olds. The High-class Bulls offered above have been selected from the best dams, and with the wonderful record of the herd have the highest quualifications as to breeding and butter-fat backing to recommend them. They have the added advantage of being reared under natural conditions, not having been pampered in any way, and have the reputation of thriving almost anywhere.
