BRIGHTON CLUB The eleventh annual meeting of the • Brighton Lawn Tennis Club was held' in the Brighton Hall on Thursday night, there being a good attendance. Mr George Bush occupied the chair. Commenting on the report and balance sheet, , lie remarked on the financial position of the club, which he thought augured well for the coming year. The election of office-bearers resulted as follows: —President, Mr J. Allen; vice-presidents —Messrs G. W. Bush, W. Coutts, D. L. Brown and A. J. Allen; committee —Mr George M‘Leod, jun., Miss E. Bush, Miss Jean M'Coll, Miss K. Miller, Mrs G. M‘Leod, jun., Messrs C. K. Miller, A. Mee, A. Miller and A. Mann; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. A. Robertson. It was decided to hold the official '' opening on November 9.
