THIRD BURGLARY
LITTLE RIVER RAILWAY STATION SUM OF £l4 SECURED (Per United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, October 24. Using explosives to blow the door off the safe in the Little River railway station early this morning, thieves made a haul of £l4 in cash. This was the third time that similar methods have been used to rob the station within the past IS months. The station was locked at midnight, and discovery of the burglary was made at 0 a.m. to-day when the station master’s room was opened in preparation for the day’,; work.
