To-morrow's sing will be the last appearance of Mr IT. P. Desmoulins at the mid-day sings. This slim,ld be one of the brightest sings as (he sailors from H.M.S. Dunedin will be attending and will assist with rousing choruses, and, in addition, Leading Seaman Lonsdale will render vocal numbers and Bandmaster F. Baker violin solos. On November 1 a last sing in the Strand Theatre will be held, am) the whole of' the proceeds are for the Mayoress s Christmas Cheer Fund for the children. Big Brother Bill will be the leader. The final sing of the season will take place on November 12 in the Town Hall, and the leaders will be Messrs H. P. Desmoulins and J. F. Oimlurg. The committee has received some good donations from the staffs of firms, and these have been very much appi ci.ated. If the efforts of the committee, Icade." and pianist have been appreciated by listcn-ers-in during the long season they may send in donations to Begg'.; or the Strand Theatre. The sing will be held in the Strand Theatre (by courtesy of Messrs Fuller-Hayward) at the usual hour. Donations of flowers are Jways acceptable at the stall, which is in charge of Mrs M'lntyrc.
