CITY POLICE COURT
Tuesday, October 22. (Before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M.) DRUNKENNESS Three first offenders for drunkenness were before the court, each of two being fined 10s, in default 24 hours' imprisonment, and the third being fined 12s 6d, in default 24 hours' imprisonment. MAINTENANCE Lilian Dorothy Bennett, for whom Mr O. G. Stevens appeared, proceeded against Henry Charles Tomlinson Bennett (Mr J. B. Thomson) for maintenance and guardianship orders on the grounds of failure to maintain.—After the facts had been outlined by counsel, an order was granted, maintenance being fixed at 24s per week. His Worship said he was more concerned about the children than the parents.
