PALMER PRIZE COMPETITION THE RESULTS ANNOUNCED (Pee United Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 22. The results of the Wellington Navy League's Palmer Prize essay competition were announced to-day. The subjects were—senior, " What is Britain's wisest course to secure world peace?"; intermediate, " British submarine campaign in the Dardanelles "; junior, " Wireless, the friend of the mariner." The results were as follows: Senior. —Boys: Winner, Thomas Allen Ross (Waitaki Boys' High School) ; next in merit, John Mason Gould (Takapuna Grammar School), Donald Campbell Gray (Scots College, Wellington).
