Waipiata is due at Dunedin to-morrow from Auckland, via ports. She will sail the same day for Bluff, and will return on Saturday to load for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Wingatul Is to leave Auckland on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Oamaru. She Is duo at this port on November 1. WAIKOUAITI PROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company advises that the Waikoualti is to leave Hobart to-day for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, and Lyttelton. She Is due at Dunedin on October 30. FOKDSDALE LATER. The National Mortgage and Agency Company advise that the Fordsdale is to leave Auckland to-day for Port Chalmers to complete Homeward loading. She is due on Friday morning, and Is scheduled to sail on Saturday morning for London, 1 via Port Stanley and Las Palmas. KALINGO FROM SOUTH AUSTRALIA. The Kalingo, from Edithburg and Adelaide, Is to leave Melbourne on October 26 for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington. She is due at Dunedin about November 2. . MONOWAI LEAVES HONOLULU. En route from Vancouver, the Union Company’s liner Monowal left Honolulu on October 16 for Suva, Auckland, and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on October 28. HAURAKI FROM PACIFIC COAST. The Hauraki, which Is loading at Pacific Coast ports, is now expected to clear Los Angeles on October 28 for Papeete, Apia, Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, B ] uft, and Australia. She is due at Auckland on November 26. MAKURA AT SAN FRANCISCO. Prom Sydney and Wellington, via Rarotonga and Papeete, the Union Company's .R.M.S Makura arrived at San Francisco last Friday morning. FRESNO STAR FROM LIVERPOOL. The Fresno Star arrived at Wellington on Sunday from Auckland to continue discharging Liverpool cargo. She is to leave Wellington on Thursday for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers to complete discharge. GUANO FORM SEYCHELLES. The steamer Nollsement was to leave Seychelles Islands on October 8 with a cargo of guano for Auckland and southern ports. She Is due at Auckland about November 13. SURREY LEAVES COLON. The, Surrey, which left Auckland on September 23 tor London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester, and Glasgow, sailed from Colon on October 16. REMUERA’S MOVEMENTS. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera left Wellington last Thursday for Napier and Auckland to complete her Homeward loading. She is to clear Auckland finally on October 26 for London, via the Panama canal. LURLINB LEAVES LOS ANGELES. The Matson liner Lurline left San Francisco on October 15 and Los Angeles on October 16 for Honolulu, Pago Pago, Suva, Auckland, Sydney, and Melbourne. She is due at Auckland on November X. NIUE ISLAND LIGHTS. The Marine Department advises that the lights exhibited from the leading beacons at Aloft anchorage, Niue Island, in latitude 19deg "min S., longitude 169 deg 55min W., approximately, have been discontinued. WOOL VESSELS CHARTERED. Advice has been received from G. H. Scales, Ltd., that the Benreoch lias been chartered to load wool at New Zealand ports. Siie is due on the coast from Port Kembla about December 14, and will leave New Zealand on January 5 or 6 for the United Kingdom. Tlie Benledl is due on the coast at the. end of January or the beginning of February to take the February loading. NOTICE TO MARINERS. The Marine Department advises that on and after November 1 a red light, flashing every two seconds, flash 0.3 seconds, will be exhibited from the black beacon at the north end of Point Chevalier Reef, Auckland Harbour, in position 003 deg from Kauri trig station and 099 deg from Watchman trig station latitude 36deg 49.9m1n S., longitude 174 deg 42.5m1n E. (approx.). BRITISH PASSENGER TRAFFIC. Returns for the first half of 1935 show an Inward balance of passengers Into the United Kingdom from non-European countries of 35,523, compared with one of 30,71!) In trie first six months of 1934. There was a small decrease in British emigration to 11,831 from 11,145, and the number going to countries within the Empire was 9576, or 910 more than in the first half of last year. Immigrants totalled 24,835. or 2202 fewer. BLUFF TUG AWARUA. The Bluff tug Awarua, which arrived at Port Chalmers on Sunday evening, was placed in the small dock yesterday for annual survey.
