(Received August 25, at 10 p.m.) Lap records were continuously broken in the Ulster Grand Prix, the fastest motor cycle road race ever run. While Guthrie was hurtling behind Rusk roun£ a bend at 100 miles an hour the machine? skidded, and Rusk suffered serious heaf injuries. Guthrie astonished the spectators when he remounted bis Norton an= won at an average speed of 90.98 milean hour. Handley, who was also ridinf a Norton, was second.
