A recent issue of the Paris Temps announces that M. Andre See, chief marine engineer of the Penhoet Shipbuilding Yards, where the liner Normandie was built, has been made a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour. “He was specially charged with the construction of the Normandie,” states the Temps, “and assumed complete charge in the coordination of all the works executed on board. Engineer of the highest standard, M. See has distinguished himself by his outstanding moral and professional qualities.”
