BEST DESIGN FOR LINERS LONDON, August 18. The Daily Telegraph’s aeronautical correspondent says that the Air Ministry has withdrawn its offer of £25,000 for the best design of a high-speed mediumsized air liner after consultation with the heads of the aircraft industry, who say they are too busy as the result of Air Force expansion orders.
