FOUND AFTER TWENTY-SIX YEARS '

More than 26 years ago, a resident of the Wagga district of New South Wales died, leaving a will, in which, among other bequests, £IOO was left to a niece living in America. Mr H. E. Mitchelmore, solicitor lor the estate, began a long search for the American niece, and the £IOO was lodged in the Commonwealth Savings Bank, at interest, but no trace of the woman could be found.

Recently, Mr Mitchelmore was readino an American directory of solicitors who are Rotarians, and had the case of the missing niece recalled by reading the name of a solicitor practising in Kansas, the woman’s native place.

Mr Mitchelmore wrote to this Rotarian, who ultimately located the legatee at Bos Angeles.

Her bona fides • having been established, a sum amounting to nearly IOuO dollars Was paid to her.
