There is a church in Novi Sad, Jugoslavia, where the bishop, priest, and entire congregation are composed of only one man. It is the Armenian church, built in 1746, when there were many Armenians in the district. Now the only Armenian resident is Dr Gavro Manevislvjan, who is Armenian bishop of Jugoslavia, priest in charge of the church of Novi Sad —and the only member of his church. Dr Manevishjan is a scholarly man who speaks 10 languages. The National Union of Teachers in Britain has given £IOOO to King George’s Jubilee Fund.
