Walpahi, which arrived yesterday morning from Wellington, sailed last night for Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton to complete, loading tor Wellington. Nelson, and New Plymouth. Waimarino, which arrived yesterday morning from Auckland, via ports, sailed in the afternoon for Bluff. She Is due back at Dunedin on Saturday to load general cargo, and will sail the same day for Timaru, Lytteltou, Wellington, and Auckland. Storm arrived yesterday morning from Wellington, and sailed last evening for rimaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Port Waikato has been delayed by rain in the north, and is now due at Dunedin on luesday. She is to sail the same day for Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland, and Whangarel, via P °kanna Is to leave Auckland to-day for Dunedin. She Is due on Monday and, after diseliarglng a part cargo of phosphates, will sail for Bluff to complete discharge.

WAITAKI FROM MELBOURNE. The Intercolonial steamer Waitaki arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning from Melbourne, via Bluff, and was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge general cargo. The freight includes transhipments from several overseas vessels. The Waitaki sailed last evening for Lyttelton and Wellington to complete discharge. She is to leave Wellington on Saturday for Bluff and Melbourne. KARETU FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company advises that the Karetu, which loaded at Newcastle, Sydney, Port Kembla, and Hobart, was to leave the latter port yesterday for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Oamaru. Her cargo includes transhipments ex the Tamor Maru, Atsuta Maru, Themlstocles, Changte, Magdeburg, Troja, and Nieuw Zeeland. The Karetu 13 due at Dunedin on Tuesday. MONOWAI AT AUCKLAND. The Union Company's liner Monowal arrived at Auckland at 7.30 a.m. yesterday from a cruise to the Islands. The vessel reached Fltzroy Bay, Great Barrier Island, at 4.30 p.m. on Tuesday. A fancy dress ball was held on board on Tuesday night, which was a great success. WAIKOUAITI DUE AT SYDNEY. The Waikoualtl, from Bluff, is due at Sydney to-day. She will then,load at Newcastle on July 27, completing-at Sydney for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, /and Lyttelton. HAURAKI FROM PACIFIC COAST. The Union Company's motor ship Haurakl, from Los Angeles, via Papeete, was to have left Rarotonga on July 20 for Auckland, where she is due on July 29. She will later complete discharge at Wellington, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Duriedln, and Australia. PORT FAIRY LEAVES PANAMA. i The Port Fairy, which left London on July 5 for Lyttelton, Djjnedln, Bluff, and Timaru, via Suva, cleared Panama on July 20. She is due at Lyttelton on August 14. '.., DORIC STAR DELAYED. The Doric Star, which left London on Juno 15 for Auckland, Wellington, and New Plymouth, has been dolayed by heavy weather, and now expects to reach Auckland this morning. i THE CANADIAN SCOTTISH. The Canadian Scottish, which arrived at Auckland last Sunday morning from Australia to load, was to sail yesterday for New York, Boston, and Montreal.

CUMBERLAND REPLACES CAMBRIDGE. Advice has been received that the Cumberland is to leave Liverpool on October 5 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Timaru, in place of the Cambridge. BUCCINUM LEAVES BALIKPAPAN. The tanker Bucclnum is reported to have left Balikpapan on July 14 with a cargo of motor spirit for discharge at Wellington and Dunedin. She is due at Wellington on August 2. PIPON LIGHT IRREGULAR. The Director-general of the General Post Office has received the following navigation warning broadcast by Thursday Island radio at 0.28 a.m.:—"Pipon Island light reported Irregular, showing one flash every 12 seconds." FRENCH SLOOP FOR AUCKLAND. The French' war sloop Ameral Charner Is scheduled to arrive at Auckland from Papeete on July 30. She will remain at the northern port until August 5. * CAMBRIDGE FOR ENGLAND. The Federal steamer Cambridge left Wellington on Tuesday for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow, via Cape Horn and Montevideo. NAPIER STAR AT LONDON. The Blue Star Line steamer Napier Star, which left Auckland for London, via Capo Horn, on June 14, is reported to have reached the Home port on July 21. PERSONAL. Mr R. J. Dowar has been engaged as extra officer of the Walpiata. Mr W. J. Hill Is now first offlcor of the Tamahlne, in place of Mr H. Duncan. Mr A. C. Crosbie i 3 taking Mr Hill's place as first offlceer of the Walpahl. Mr C. Mayo has been, appointed purser of the Tamahlne, in place of Mr J. M. Gordon. Mr A. C. Lund, for some years chief wireless operator of the Tamaroa, and who, early in the year, underwent an operation at Homo, Is now on a vessel trading to the Black Sea.
