GREECE AND ROYALTY
The Greek Premier, M. Tsaldaris, visited President Zaimis recently, and after informing him of the results of the general elections acquainted him with the Government's plan for holding an impartial plebiscite on the restoration of the Monarchy, .or the preservation of the Republican regime. . M. Zaimis expressed approval, and said he would gladly preside over the conference between the Government and Opposition representatives to arrange for an impartial vote. Even with whole-hearted Government support, the chance of a restoration is not as creat as is believed iu some quarters abroadRepublican feeling is still strong, and it will be surprising if the Republicans do not secure at least 50 per cent, of the votes.
