BRITISH EMPIRE GAMES GOVERNMENT GUARANTEE SYDNEY, July 23, (Received July 23, at 11.30 p.m.) The New South Wales Government to-day agreed to provide a guarantee for £IO,OOO for the British Empire Games to be held in Sydney in January, 1938, coinciding with the 150th anniversary of the State. It is proposed to include in the programme track and field games, swimming, , diving, cycling,, boxing, wrestling, bowls and sculling.
