SUPPLEMENTARY VOTE LONDON, July 23. (Received July 23, at 11.55 pm.) The House of Commons earned the Supplementary Air vote of £5,335,000. It provides for an additional 12,000 in the personnel, of whom 1300 will be pilots> It also provides authority for a full financial programme in the current year, preparing for the establishment of 50 new ground stations and 41 new aerodromes.
Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister expressed the opinion that the estimates for the next financial year would probably be between £35,000,000 and £30.000,000.
