RELEASE ARRANGED

LIEUTENANT CHAMBERLAIN A COMEDY OF ERRORS LONDON, July 21. The Sunday Express is informed that Lieutenant Chamberlain was in charge of two army transport cars on July 14 when he inadvertently crossed the frontier and was detained. A Foreign Office official told the Sunday Times that the land was all desert and there was nothing to mark the border. It was really a comedy of errors and there was no ill-feeling. An Amman message says that Lieutenant Chamberlain’s release has been arranged through diplomatic channels.
