FORTUNATE MAN
Mr H. A. Macpherson, a Brisbane solicitor, lately found a roll of bank notes worth MOo lying on n footpath in Brisbane. Subsequently a magistrate, Mr M. J. Hickey, P.M.. made an order tor (he money to be returned to Lionel Jacobs. Air Jacobs told the magistrate that he won most of the money at the races and believed that he had placed it in a trousers pocket. Apparently it had slipped between his trousers and underpants. He did not miss it until he reached his home. Mr Macpherson on finding the money handed it to the police.
