DELEGATION IN GERMANY CONTROVERSY ARISES . VXMunich, juiy.2l.. The controversy which has arisen because members of the British Legion had not placed..a, wreath on the Nazi memorial, as expected, has been explained. The ceremony was announced before members of the legion were consulted. Major Fetherston-Godlcy took the view that as the sole object was to make contact with the German exservicemen they could not participate in a political demonstration.
