OTAGO ASSOCIATION The fortnightly meeting of the Management Committee of the Otago Hockey Association was held last evening. There were present: Messrs W. M'Queen (hi the chair), J. S. lAinger, E.Rennick, D. Felton. K. Brown, E. Gallon, D, Pickard, H. W. Tyrrell and A. C. Barnes. The South Canterbury Association wrote confirming August 24_ as the date of the animal senior. and junior representative games to be played this year at Timaru, and the North Otago Association confirmed August 3 as the date of the senior and junior representative games to be played at Oamaru.—Received. In connection with Mr A. Botting’s offer to present a cup for an annual match between Wellington and Otago, Messrs D. Woodfield, H. W. Tyrrell and W. M'Queen were appointed a committee to go into the matter with Mr Botting to see if any alteration could be made as it was feared that such a match might lapse after a year or two. It was decided to ask the Hookey Referees’ Association to submit the names of referees available for the matches at Oamaru, so that .two could be selected for the trip. Accounts amounting to £5 18s lid were passed for payment. ■' , It wag decided to write to Messrs E. Hobson. L. Horens and R.
