ADDRESS BY MISS MILL
On Thursday last, in the old Presbyterian Church. Miss Mill, who recently returned after an extensive tour abroad, gave a very interesting talk on her travels to the senior scholars. The superintendent of the Sunday school (Mr J. Miller), on behalf of the teachers and scholars, extended to the Misses Mill a very hearty welcome. / In the course of her address Miss Mill described to the children the Duke of Kent’s wedding. She referred to the procession and the reception the King and Queen and members of the Royal Family received from the thousands of people who had gathered in London for that great occasion. Miss Mill spent some time in Bavaria, and mentioned that it was a wonderful country, and that the peasants of that land were charming people. She was greatly impressed with the soklicrsmemorial in Edinburgh. A number of photos were handed round to the scholars, which greatly interested them. On the motion of the Rev. J. G. S. Dunn, Miss Mill was accorded a vote of thanks for her interesting address.
