THE WHEELBARROW CRAZE SYDNEY, July 20. (Received July 21, at 6.30 p.m.) Cheered by 2000 people. William Darwin, member of i the Brighton Council and drum-major of the Brighton Municipal Band, set off this afternoon in an attempt to push a fellow-bandsman, William Amiguet, from Brighton to Sydney in a wheelbarrow in 10 weeks, the distance being 600 miles. There is a £IOO wager attached to the event. The barrow is streamlined and fitted with a windscreen.
