EXTENSION OF SUBSIDY LONDON, July 19. In the House of Commons Mr Elliot, defending the proposed extension of the crttle subsidy, declared that the fall in food prices since 1925 was equivalent to £2.'50.000.000 yearly, benefiting the workins class almost exclusively.
