RECOVERY AND RELIEF
EXPENDITURE IN AMERICA WASHINGTON, July 19. (Received July 19, at 10 p.m.) The Treasury has announced that recovery and relief have involved an expenditure to date of 10,081,000.000 dollars, of which about 1,000,000,000 dollars was spent during the Hoover Administration and the balance under the “ New Deal.”
