TRANS-TASMAN AIR SERVICE
TWICE WEEKLY CROSSING? Sir Charles Kings ford Smith, accompanied by Mr Beau Shell, director of Trans-Tasman Air Service Development Company, Ltd., will arrive at Auckland on Monday by the Aorangi, to confer with the Cabinet Ministers regarding Sir Charles’s proposals for a trans-Tasman airmail and passenger service. It is « understood that Sir Cnarles’s proposals provide for a tvvicc-weekly nine-hour . crossing of the Tasman, using flying boats capable of carrying 20 passenger* and all first class mail matter. Attention is called to an advertisement in this issue inviting preliminary applications for the staff for the proposed transTasman air service.
