The Norwegian steamer Aelybryn is to load sulphur at Texas for discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Wanganui. TANKER NEW ZEALAND. The tanker Now Zealand, which left Los Angeles on June 15 for Auckland, Wellington, and Australia, is now expected at Auckland on July 6. i TANKER TOORAK. The steamer Golden Bear arrived at Auckland on June 28 from Pacific Coast ports. She will complete discharge at Wellington and Australian ports. SPEYBANK PROM CUBA. The motor ship Speybank is scheduled to arrive at Auckland from Cuba about July 7. She has a full cargo of raw sugar for discharge there. MAHANA LEAVES MONTEVIDEO. The Mahana, which left Wellington on June 6 for London and West Coast ports of the United Kingdom, sailed from Montevideo on the morning of Juno 26. STRATHMORE’S MAIDEN VOYAGE. The new P. and 0. liner Strathmore, which was launched recently at Barrow-in-Furness, will make her first trip in the Australian service next year. It Is announced by Macdonald, Hamilton and Co., Sydney, that the Strathmore Is scheduled to sail from London on May 15, and will reach Australia in June. After calling at Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane she will leave Sydney on the return voyage to England on July 19. CONVERTED TO MOTOR VESSEL. The steamer Tulrangl, which is now being converted into a motor vessel by Messrs W. G. Lowe and Son at Auckland, prior to being sent to Wanganui for lighterage work, was built in Auckland in 1908 by C. Bailey and Son for the Kalpara Harbour trade. ■ On her maiden trip to Kaipara the Tulrangi ran into heavy weather on the west coast and shipped a heavy sea when crossing inwards over the Kaipara bar, which shifted her deck houses. In charge of the late Captain George Sellars, the Tulrangl was engaged for years In the Kaipara freight and passenger trade.
