FOUND DEAD
SHOOTING FATALITY AT DUNTROON . Yesterday morning Frederick Albert Underbill, of Duntroon, was found dead near a wooden gate on the property of Mr Rutherford with a discharged gun nearby. It appears that Mr Underhill went out rabbit shooting on Thursday at 8.30 a.m., and the fact that he did not return to his home was reported to the constable at Duntroon at 9.15 yesterday morning. A search was made and the body was found at 10.40 a.m. near a wooden gate in a paddock on Mr Rutherford's property. The body was on one side of the gate and a discharged rifle on the other. The body was taken to the Duntroon Hotel, and it was found that Mr Underhill had been shot through the heart. The coroner (Mr W. H. Frith) has ordered an inquest before a justice of the peace and a jury.
