A SENATOR'S ESTATE
BEQUESTS TO ASSOCIATES
WASHINGTON, June 25,
Senator Cutting left 4,000,000 dollars. His will, making bequests to some of his political associates, was written in his own hand on Senate stationeiy and was dated December 20, 1934. He left from 150,000 dollars down for various friends and associates, including 50,000 dollars to Senator La Follette and 25,000 dollars to the latter's brother, Philip, who is Governor of Wisconsin.
Senator Bronson Cutting, of New Mexico, and three others were killed on May 6 when a giant Douglas monoplane of Transcontinental Western Airways crashed while making a forced landing in a fog in Missouri. Several Hollywood motion picture people, who were passengers on the plane, were seriously injured.
