Two' divorce stories' from that town of strange divorce—Los Angeles • —Mrs Maude Mueick got her decree because her husbanu, a wealthy manufacturer, kept a skunk in their home, as well as chattering monkeys. Result, lost harmony in musicks. Omar M. Patten applied for a decree because his wife made him share his bed with a dog and eat his meals with the dog and cat as table companions. A cat and dog life for him. But of all fantastic divorce stories the best is of Peter Parcorell, of Clarion,. Pennsylvania. He walked into the clerk of the court's office the other day and asked how his divorce was coming along. "No such record on the file," replied the clerk. " Oh, yes, there is," said Peter, " I did it back in 1894." Documents, yellow with age, came to light, and three hours later Peter was taking up before a judge the threads of u case he had begun 41 years ago.
