CONCERT AT WAKARI HOSPITAL
A concert party arranged by Miss Flossie Pickard presented a very enjoyable programme to the patients at Wakari Hospital on Wednesday evening last. Songs were contributed by Miss Clare and Messrs Clark, Marshall, and Bellliousc. Duets were rendered by Messrs Bellhouse and Clark, recitations by Mis* Smith and Master Bobby Whale, violin items by Miss Hobson. and popular melodies were played by Mr Bennetts (Unele Ben) on his accordion. Miss Pickard acted as accompan'st for the evening. At the close of the entertainment one of th<" patients expressed thanks to Miss Pickard and the perf' enters, on behalf of the patients and staff and Mr Steven thanked !he party on behalf of the Patients ant! Prisoners' Aid Society.
