SOUTHERN ENGLAND ONE DEATH REPORTED (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 25. Severe thunderstorms broke over London and Southern England this afternoon. One man was killed and several houses damaged. Other damage was done by h.-avy hail and rain. The temperature, which had reached 85deg—the highest point this year—fell lOdeg in a few minutes. Airmen approaching London in the afternoon reported 14 storms breaking over the metropolitan area. LIGHTNING KILLS GOLFER LONDON, June 25. (Received June 20, at 9 p.m.; Three persons were killed by lightning, including a golfer at Manchester. Many buildings were damaged over a wide area around London.
