“Mother” Tapanui—l can find no recipe for dandelion wine. (Some reader may be able to supply one.) But here is dandelion decoction, said to be useful for a sluggish state of the liver:—Take two ounces of freshly-sliced dandelion root, and boil in a quart of water in a pipkin or a tin saucepan until it comes to a pint, but no longer than 10 minutes. Dose, from two to four tablespoonfuls.
