THE WEATHER
A light easterly breeze and fine weather prevailed yesterday. The morning was sunny, but there was some light cloud in the afternoon. The temperature at 8 a.m. was .40 degree;-, and the maximum for the'day was 54 degrees. The barometer remained fairly steady at about 30.35 in.
CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND, May 10. After four days of fine southerly weather, a light easterly wind was blowing to-day. The conditions were cloudy and unsettled. The barometer was steady all day at 30.10 in. WELLINGTON, May 10. Light rain fell in the early morning and throughout the day. The weather wan cold and cloudy, with a moderate to frcgh south-easterly wind. The maximum temperature was 50.8 degrees. CHRISTCHURCH, May 10. The weather to-day was fine and sunny, with a light south-westerly breeze. The maximum temperature was 57.7. The barometer is steady and high at 30.39 in.
